Electric Bass Guitar
A guitar doesn't have to cost a bundle to sound good. The GIO series was developed for players who want Ibanez quality in a more affordable package. Not only do they look and play better than everything else in their price range, but their rigorous inspection, set-up and warranty is the same as Ibanez's more expensive models.
GSR180, a remarkable addition to Ibanez's Soundgear series of solid body electric bass models, which made its debut in late 2004. Designed as part of the esteemed entry-level GIO line, this bass has been crafted in both Indonesia and China, ensuring its availability to a wide range of music enthusiasts.
Crafted with precision and care, the GSR180 boasts a double-cutaway nato body, flawlessly connected to a smooth maple neck adorned with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard featuring elegant white dot position markers for easy navigation along the frets.
Equipped with a pair of Ibanez's signature passive jazz pickups, this bass guarantees an exceptional sound that resonates with warmth and clarity. Complementing the pickups is the B10 bridge, providing a comfortable 19mm string spacing for players to achieve their desired playability.
For reliable tuning stability, the GSR180 is furnished with Ibanez tuning machines, ensuring every note stays in perfect harmony. To complete the package, a durable plastic nut has been thoughtfully incorporated into its design.
With its impressive features and superb craftsmanship, the Ibanez GSR180 stands as a true testament to the brand's commitment to delivering top-notch instruments to musicians of all levels.
The Purpleheart fretboard emphasizes the beauty and the rich tonal character of this bass.
The B10 bridge allows fully adjustable intonation and solid tuning stability.
