Ibanez AAM300CE-NT Acoustic Steel Guitar

The Advanced Acoustic series represents a significant step forward in the long and storied tradition of the acoustic guitar. The Ibanez AAM300CE-NT is an electro-acoustic guitar with a natural high gloss finish. It has an Advanced Auditorium body shape with an Advanced Access cutaway, a solid Sitka spruce top, African mahogany back and sides, and a thermo aged African mahogany neck. The guitar has a low oval grip with a rounded fretboard edge, which is designed to make chord strumming easier. The rosewood fretboard provides a balanced tone with a focused mid-range, and the African mahogany back and sides offer warm, full-bodied mid-range tones. The AAM300CE-NT also has an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup that accurately translates the guitar's full sound to amplification systems.

A.I.R.port

Through intensive research and development, we have designed the A.I.R.port with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them to exit from a precisely positioned sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience.

Advanced Auditorium Body

With the concept of Advanced Acoustics - "Reimagining Acoustic Experience" in mind, we carefully designed the new body shape of the Advanced Auditorium, drawing on our research into the general Auditorium body shape. After many rounds of prototyping, the Advanced Auditorium body has a slightly wider waist, which has been moved slightly towards the neck. Thanks to these changes, this shape delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack.

X-M bracing for AAM series

After more than two years of trial and error, research, and prototyping, Ibanez developed its proprietary X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to produce the ultimate sound for the stage and studio. The carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The mids are slightly scooped for better tonal balance, and the treble has the clarity of steel strings while retaining the warmth of nylon strings.

Rosewood Scalloped bridge

The lightweight, scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance and provides more flexibility in adjusting the action than does a typical bridge.

Low Oval Grip Thermo Aged™ African Mahogany neck with Rounded Fretboard Edge

The Low Oval neck grip facilitates easy chord strumming and the Rounded Fretboard Edges deliver superior playability. Thermo Aging, a special drying process, makes the neck light and hard and provides excellent stability and enhanced resonance.

Advanced Access Cutaway

Its deep straight cutaway (from 18th fret) and shaved side enable amazing high fret access.

Ibanez Custom Electronics w/ Volume and Tone Control

The guitar also features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making the AE suitable for variety of applications for modern players.
