The RGA42EX features a sculpted meranti body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Quantum passive humbucking pickups, an F106 hard-tail bridge, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The Ibanez RGA42EX solid-body electric guitar was designed with high-speed, low-drag playing in mind. It has a fast maple Wizard III neck and a 15.7-inch radius jatoba fingerboard.
