The solid-body electric guitar is designed for high-speed, low-drag playing. It features a fast maple Wizard III neck and jatoba fingerboard with a 15.7" radius, making it perfect for rock, blues, and metal play. The RG meranti body is top-loaded and beautifully flamed maple - you'll love the way it feels when you pick it up. And two Quantum humbucking pickups provide great sound in all genres of music. This isn't just any ordinary guitar; it's built to help you shred like the best of them.
Nothing breathes inspiration into your playing like the feel of a precision-made instrument, capable of interpreting your every move with power and accuracy. Enter the Ibanez RGA - a solid body specifically built to handle the heaviest, most physically demanding music you can conjure up. The RGA's unique, sleekly sculpted top offers unrestricted playability for full-throttle power chording or heavy riffing without fear of digging into the body.
The Ibanez RGA42FM sports a fixed bridge, which means no tuning hassles due to a floating vibrato. From standard to lowered tunings your guitar's tuning will be more stable and the string tension will feel looser. When you change tunings at a gig you'll be ready to rock without messing with the bridge or locking nuts.
The F106 bridge enriches sustain. String height adjustment can be done easily and independently.
The Quantum pickups provide accelerated bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of high-speed staccato riffing with crushing mid range and precise high-end articulation.
