The RG8EX is an eight string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2024. It is produced in Indonesia.

The RG8EX features a meranti body with multi-binding bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut 27" scale neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez IBZ-8 humbucking pickups, an F108 fixed bridge, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
