The Ibanez BTB605MS is a multi-scale 5-string bass guitar designed for enhanced playability and tone balance. It features a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck-through construction with Graphite reinforcement rods for stability. The body has Okoume wings, and the Bound Panga Panga fretboard is decorated with Abalone dot inlays. It includes 24 Medium Stainless Steel frets plus a zero fret for precise intonation.
This bass is equipped with T1 passive pickups and an Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with an EQ bypass switch and a 3-way Mid frequency switch, offering a wide tonal range. The MR5S bridge provides an 18mm string spacing for comfortable playability. Factory-tuned to 1G, 2D, 3A, 4E, 5B, it comes with D'Addario® NYXL Single Strings for superior performance
