The Shure MXA925 is a ceiling array microphone that is easy to use and quick to deploy for AV conferencing, camera tracking, voice lift, or sound reinforcement applications. The unit offers a powerful feature set, including Automatic Coverage and AI-powered IntelliMix DSP that focuses audio capture for clear and productive meetings and presentations.

AI-Powered AEC

AI AEC is a machine learning algorithm that offers significant advantages over a standard AEC algorithm, including: The new MXA925 AEC easily handles challenging acoustic environments or where loudspeakers are in very close proximity to the microphone. Unlike a traditional AEC, AI AEC does not require time to converge to suppress echo and therefore has fewer artifacts as talkers move around a meeting space.

Shure trains the MXA925 AI AEC algorithm continuously for improvement over time as more data becomes available. The onboard AI AEC has been trained on a wide variety of room conditions, making setup and deployment faster than ever, even in the most challenging rooms.

How It Works

  • Automatic Coverage technology captures the talkers you want to hear while avoiding sounds in other areas, without aiming pickup lobes.
  • Out of the box, the MXA925 covers up to a 30 by 30' seating area with no setup at all.
  • To capture talkers only in specific locations, drag and drop up to 8 adjustable coverage areas using the built-in web interface.
  • Capture simultaneous talkers in different areas at the same time.
  • You can also turn Automatic Coverage technology off and use Steerable Coverage technology to place 8 pickup lobes with 8 individual audio outputs, plus an automix.
  • Onboard IntelliMix DSP applies automatic mixing, echo cancellation, noise reduction, and automatic gain control for a pristine audio mix.

Advanced talker localization algorithm instantly reports the exact position of each talker for the most accurate camera tracking possible.

Precise coverage control provides exceptional isolation between microphone lobes and loudspeakers, guaranteeing the maximum sound level possible in voice lift and sound reinforcement applications.

In larger spaces, Designer System configuration software helps you configure MXA920’s with other Microflex Ecosystem devices.
